Video

A handful of videos I've scripted and produced.

Boatsetter

Boatsetter believes that boating is for everyone. We created a series of deliverables in their top three markets: Miami, Tampa, and Chicago. The goal of this campaign is to show how easy and accessible it is to rent a boat on their platform and get out on the water for adventures of all kinds. Rent the boat. Own the moment.

Casual Crabbing with Tia

This tourism video highlights an amazing creator in the Charleston are, Tia Clark, whose incredible and interactive crabbing experience has become wildly popular. Tia's passion for crabbing and for the Lowcountry comes through beautifully in her interviews.

A Culinary Treasure: Chef Kevin Mitchell

Learning from Chef Kevin, hearing his experiences, and visiting local farms with him in pursuit of bringing this video to life was one of my favorite projects to date. And sampling the food he made at the end of the shoot didn't hurt either.

Charleston County Economic Development

CCED celebrated 30 years of economic progress and incredible growth in the area. I helped bring this to life by storyboarding, scheduling with various business in the region, and interviewing business leaders to capture this video that encompasses the breadth of the organization's impact.

From Rescue to Release: SC Aquarium

The South Carolina Aquarium is home to the only Sea Turtle Rescue Center and Hospital in the state. Our client, the Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, tasked us with creating a documentary-style video showing the entire rehabilitation process of a sea turtle, from rescue to release. The video we made perfectly captures the beauty and emotion you feel when you're around these beautiful creatures.

Introducing the Har-Tru HyQ Court

Har-Tru is a global tennis company based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Their digital subsurface irrigation system if the hallmark of the innovative HyQ court. As the producer and writer for this video, I combined voiceover with key interviews to communicate the benefits and ease of use of this ultimate clay court. We also incorporated detailed product shots with active b-roll to keep it visually engaging throughout.

Gullah Culture with Miss Jackie

The Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau asked us to create a series celebrating Black stories, heritage, and history in the Charleston area. This video following Miss Jackie, a Gullah presenter, explores the Gullah culture and why it's so important to pass it on through song and story.

Drata Brand Film

Drata is the leading compliance and security platform, helping their customers automate compliance protocols so they can get back to more of the moments that matter in life. The brand film we created for them was used as part of their brand refresh to help make Drata more approachable and accessible to everyone.

Christmas in Charleston

What's better than spending the holidays in the Holy City? This video created for the Charleston Visitors Bureau entices viewers to explore Charleston during a slower (and more festive!) season.

Wild Dunes Resort

Wild Dunes Resort is known for its stunning coastal golf courses, among many other amenities. We created a video to help promote their public courses to a younger target audience. We also wanted to appeal to more women, so we focused on casting a diverse array of talent for this shoot. The script, the voiceover artist, and the music all work together to make this video fast-paced, upbeat, and fun to watch.

The Charleston Place

This video was an honor to produce! I wrote a script for Charleston's beloved former mayor, Joe Riley, detailing how his support of the creation of The Charleston Place hotel set in motion a chain of events that helped Charleston become the tourism hub it is today. We filmed with Mayor Riley at five different locations around the vast property to keep the video visually interesting.

The Town of Mt Pleasant

To generate awareness and attract more visitors to the Town of Mt Pleasant, we created a video centered around a foundational part of the area's culture and history: the art of sweetgrass basket weaving. As told by Lynette and her mother, two generations of basket weavers, this video takes the viewer through the full range of experiences available in this small but mighty Southern town.

How to Speak Like a Charlestonian

This video, which is now part of a popular series, was created for Explore Charleston, also known as the Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. We teamed up with a long-time local, David Hay, to education viewers on the correct pronunciation of some of Charleston's notoriously difficult to pronounce street names.

Terminix: Best That Pest

The Best that Pest video series were part of an annual Terminix campaign that I created with the aim of educating the consumer about common pests and how to stop them. We built a custom game-show podium specifically for this video shoot, and used real Terminix technicians as our on-screen contestants, facing off to see who could Best that Pest!

Terminix: Porch Stories Chapter 2

The Terminix Porch Stories series is about celebrating the great relationships that real Terminix customers have with their technicians. I researched hundreds of reviews from customers to find the right people to share their Terminix story with us! For this video, our team headed to Rock Hill, SC, to film with Summer and Phil!
